La capote pour le modèle 1998 à 2005 est constituée de 2 pièces ( avant et arrière - pas de bandeaux latéraux comme sur le modèle 1996-1998) Ce modèle n'est pas interchangeable avec le modèle 1996>>1998. La lunette arrière est en PVC.

BAS was an O.E. supplier to MG Rover for its MGF and MGTF hoods before the Rover group went into receivership in 2005. BAS still produce these hoods for the aftermarket, as well as a host of other products for the sports car.

When the car was first launched in 1996 the hood had two seams running from the front of the hood to the rear seam, this changed in 1998 to having one seam running across the hood over the last bow. These hoods are not interchangeable unless the entire frame is changed. Some cars had this frame change under warranty, if your car has only one seam you will need to order the hood for the 1998-2004 cars.
